Passy Ma Travor: Kenyans Distressed After Losing Millions in Alleged Investment Scam

A group of Kenyans are in distress after losing nearly Ksh 354 million in an investment scheme run by Passy Ma Travor through her companies. Thousands of Kenyans who entrusted their hard-earned cash to the scheme are now demanding refunds after Passy failed to deliver the promised monthly interest payments.

According to sources familiar with the dealings, the investors are asking for refunds totaling up to Ksh 354 million. One investor, who spoke on condition of anonymity, disclosed that they had invested Ksh 8.9 million in the scheme.

The majority of the investors were fans of Passy Ma Travor, a well-known HIV activist, who first mentioned her need for investors in 2022. Her public displays of kindness, including fundraisers that were later exposed as self-enrichment scams, convinced many unsuspecting people to invest in her scheme.

In addition to her investment firm, Passy launched a new land company selling plots under the “Lipa Mdogo Mdogo Plan,” further solidifying her image as a business expert capable of doubling their money.

However, it appears that the funds were used to finance her lavish lifestyle. She reportedly built a palatial home, purchased cars from her boyfriend’s company, and supported their expensive lifestyle, often expressing gratitude with the phrase, “God, your daughter is grateful.”

The situation took a turn for the worse when her “40th day” arrived, and investors found themselves unable to reach her. All contact with Passy has been lost, with her phones switched off. Reports suggest that the properties she acquired have been registered in her mother’s name, who is currently in Sudan, leaving investors in a state of quagmire.
